Day 595

We got quite a bit done today.  We woke up at 7, but surfed until 8.  Then it was pet stuff and breakfast.  We went outside to wash the small trailer about 9.  It took two hours.  I did the washing and Ellen cleaned the windows afterwards.  That had to be done because I was using a wash/wax.

After that we went to the club.  PSA wouldn't let me order the upper because I'm not a resident of Oregon.  At first that pissed me off, but then I realized that they didn't want to be part of someone buying something in one state that wasn't legal in another.  Dave was nice enough to order it for me.

After that we left to gt new phones.  We decided to stay with Verizon.  We went to Verizon and asked for their best deal.  They wrote it up, $162 out of pocket.  Then we went to Best Buy.  They would give us the same stuff, and we'd end up with a $120 gift card, no out of pocket.  As a bonus the Samsung representative was there.  He transferred all the data from our old phones and did some additional set up.  It took 2 hours, but it was worth it.

We ate a late lunch at McGraff's.  Then we got money from Wells Cargo to repay Dave and gas at Fred Meyer.  The last stops were Brooks (so Ellen could shit) and the post office.  Unfortunately Ellen didn't make it back home from the post office.

We got the hoses, key holder, and key hooks I ordered earlier in the week.  The new water hose is great.  Unfortunately I won't be able to use the new drinking hose.  They changed the pump layout and there's no longer a spigot on the output of the filter.

We went back to the clubhouse to pay off Dave and talk.  Vandy said she wanted to shoot, so we said we would when they closed up.  While we waited I put my keys on the new key holder.  That process is a pain in the ass.

There was good and bad news on the water front.  The good news is that the gas heater works again.  The bad news is that we needed water.

We had fun shooting with Vandy and Dave.  When it was done refilled the water tank.  I didn't get done until almost 10.  I updated about a megabyte of application files while I waited at the clubhouse or the trailer.  The new phone is fast.
