We got up a little after 8, did the pet stuff, and had breakfast. Then we did a little surfing and Ellen did the wash. I put away the satellite dish. After the wash was done we went over to Hewitt to look at the water. It is definitely higher. Then we went to Thorny's and bought cat food to replace what Lucy ate last night.
We took that over to Dan's. He was watching TV and Patsy was at church. So we talked for awhile until a basketball game came on that Dan wanted to watch. We watched the whole game, his team won.
At about 4 we drove to Swede's landing. There's a new park there. The Bronco died on the way. It took awhile, but it eventually started again. I think Dan's theory about the gas cap is correct because it started after he fiddled with it.
When we got to the park it was closed. We parked outside and went in anyway. It's a really nice park with a long boat ramp, toilets, and camping spaces. Dan fished while the three of us talked.
I got bored and took Lucy to the boat ramp. I didn't have a bumper, but she did water retrieves with a stick just fine. She also did quite a bit of running around. She's a really tired doggy tonight.
When we got back I emptied the tanks and retracted the rear jacks. That's as much as I can do to make things faster tomorrow. Then I met Dan at Greg's and we put the Bronco away.
Dan took me back to the park and we took the truck to his place. We talked, had dinner, and watched a little TV. We said our goodbyes about 9.
The rest of the evening was putting some stuff away, surfing, and going to bed early.
