Day 1298

We didn't get up very early today.  There was no need to.  We only needed to go 150 miles.  So after pet stuff and breakfast we took our time getting hooked up.  I think we got out a little before 10.

We fought a really strong headwind all the way.  We got 8.5 mpg on a stretch we usually get 12 to 13 on.  It was so bad that in some sections I was hitting the gas pedal hard to go down hill.  It didn't help that there were two regens.

We entered the pacific timezone, so we gained and hour.  I stopped at BiMart in Baker to look for new blades for my razor.  It barely shaves me now.  They didn't have any.  Then we went on to Richland.  When we got there we stopped at the Richland Cafe to get coffee and pastries.

After that it was pull in to the park and unhook.  Apparently the heir of the guy with the storage unit hasn't cleared it out yet.  Crap.  After that we had lunch.  As we were finishing, Dan came over.  We talked for a little while and then he took me over to get the Bronco.  The interior guy did a great job on it.

We went back to the park for a few minutes and then went over to Dan's.  We talked until it was time to walk the dogs.  Lucy did pretty good on the walk.  Then it was back to Dan's for awhile, followed by taking Lucy to the park for dinner.

Then it was back to Dan's for more talking.  Patsy fixed chicken legs for dinner.  After dinner was more talk until after 9:30.  When we got home it was showers and bed.
