We woke up about 7:30. There was no reason to get up that early, so we played games for awhile. Then it was pet stuff and breakfast. I got out the guns and put them in the truck. We left for the club about 9:30.
We took the "back way". It was a mistake. There were a lot of narrow twisty roads with low speed limits and slow cars. We still managed to make it to the club about 10 minutes after they opened. That's when I realized I hadn't put the shooting bags in the truck. We got foam plugs and glasses for Ellen at the check in. I used my sunglasses.
Redmond is a pretty nice place. It's incredible considering it's all volunteer. The terrain is nice and the targets were good. The only down side is that they use Atlas machines. The Atlas machines break a lot of targets. We had 24 broken targets out of 250 we pulled. All in all we had a good time and plan to go back tomorrow.
We took 97 home. We stopped at BiMart and I bought a case of Fiocchi shells for $70. We also stopped at Dairy Queen. While we were eating a Trump caravan went by. It kept coming. There were well over 100 cars. We ended up joining part of it after we left the Dairy Queen. It was cool.
On the way home we saw a sign for "Steelhead Falls". So we turned off. After a bit of a fiasco finding the place we parked and took the "1/2 mile trail". It was 1/2 mile linearly and 1/2 mile vertically. There was no way Lucy was going to make it and we were tired, too. So we stopped at a view point and turned back.
When we got home I took out the camera and we went over to the viewpoint over the gorge that I saw yesterday. Lucy just wanted to go inside. I got some great pictures. Then we went back to the trailer.
I did a little surfing and had a Mike's. It didn't make me sick, which is nice. Then I took a nap.
Ellen fixed pork chops for dinner. After dinner was surfing. There's no cable of on air.
