Day `1797

We got out of bed at 9, did the pet stuff and had breakfast.  It was 54 degrees and raining.  Welcome to Texas.

When breakfast was done we left to vote.  We had to drive to Dripping Springs, all of the other places were closed.  When we got there there was nobody in line.  We just walked in and voted.  When we were done we stopped at Tractor Supply for bird seed.

The next stop was a long drive.  We went to the post office to get the mail.  There was a box of it.  We spent quite a bit of time sorting it at the post office and recycling all of the junk.  Then we put the rest in the trunk.

The next stop was Michael's for buttons to fix the trailer's duvet.  Then we had lunch at the Cajun place.  It was fantastic.  After that it was home.

We spent quite awhile sorting through the mail and handling some of it.  Hooch set up a Zoom meeting at Mom's room.  I got to see her - she was unconscious.  Dan and Tony were with her.  The three of us had a good talk though.

When we were finished with the mail I went out to the trailer.  I collected all of the personal stuff that was still in the trailer and piled it on the kitchen table.  I hauled part of it along with some financial stuff back to the house.  I also tried to deal with the rifles, but I gave up.  It's too daunting.  At least they're in the house.  I went out and fixed the DirecTV antenna instead.

I surfed for a little while before dinner.  I had another call from Hooch concerning funeral arrangements.  Dinner was a frozen pizza that had been frozen a little too long.  After dinner I went to the HOA meeting.  I'm on the board again.

When I got home Ellen was watching chick flicks.  I surfed.
