We didn't wake up until 8:30. Then it was about an hour of games. That meant pet stuff an breakfast didn't happen until almost 10.
After that I decided to try to get my money back from the tickets. I fought with the phone tree and chat options for over an hour. Finally I found a way to get a human. I was on the phone for 45 minutes with him. He finallhy told me that he couldn't get me a refund because they hadn't been officially notified that the race had been cancelled. I offered to gie him the track's URL, but he wasn't interested. He said I'd get an email when they confirmed the cancellation.
I emailed the track. They said they couldn't do anything to notify the ticket vendor. They just gave me the same URL.
After that fiasco I decided to set up the Ranger shipping. I called a company and got the ball rolling. They said it would probably be picked up next week.
By then it was after noon. I went out to mow the lawn. The battery on the lawn mower was dead, so I decided to edge instead. It wasn't overly warm, but it was hot in the sun. I edged the entire lawn. It took about 2 hours.
When I was finished I went inside and had a sandwich for lunch. Then I called the Men's Wearhouse. My suit was ready, so we went to pick it up. On the way back we stopped at the post office and HEB.
Ellen fixed an HEB meal for dinner. I was pooped. I took a shower, ate dinner, and then spent the entire evening surfing.
