Day 1776

We woke up at 7, had breakfast, hooked up, and were on the road by 8.  Things were going good until I had the irresistible urge to shit.  That was even though I'd taken one before we left. We got about 10 miles down the road and I had to stop at a gas station.  We took off again and I got about 15 more miles before it was a crisis.  I had to pull over and shit in the trailer.  Thankfully there were no problems after that.

The trip was all on secondary roads.  It varied from flat farmland to mountain passes.  We went over three passes, the highest was 5700 feet.  The flat parts were fine - cruise at 65.  The winding sections were roughly equivalent to the first 20 miles out of Richland.  The towhaul/exhaust brake on the truck made going downhill a breeze.  We made good time and averaged 9.4 mpg.

We stopped at Baker and got some groceries.  We stopped at our usual place in Richland.  I hooked the charger to the Bronco.  Ellen tried to set up the DirecTV, but couldn't get it to work.  I'm wondering if the antenna is damaged.

We went ot see Dan and Patsy about 5:30.  We sat and talked with them until a little after 8.  When we got home it was a late dinner and surfing.
