Day 1789

We got up about 6:45, did the pet stuff and had breakfast.  Then we loaded everything into the truck and went to the club.  We got there just after they opened at 8.

We got a cart and 325 targets.  I loaded up all the ammo we had on the cart.  Then we went out to the course.  It was warm, but not hot.  It got hotter while we were there, but it didn't really ever get uncomfortable.

We shot the Red course, which we think was the hardest.  It was fun, but challenging.  There was only one target I couldn't hit.  The thing that bugged me was the eye glitches that I would occasionally have because of the floaters.  We had lots of targets left, so we shot the White course, which was a little easier, but still fun.  We were tired when we got finished.

We left the club a little after we finished.  We tried to find a pet store to get treats for Devon, but that didn't work out.  We stopped at Mickey D's for lunch - $20 for two sandwiches.  Then we went home.  On the way home we saw a station with diesel for $1.85.  I might have to fill up there.

When we got home we put everything away and went into the trailer to escape the heat.  We spent the afternoon surfing and watching TV.  Dinner was leftovers.  After dinner was more TV.

We'll do the wash tomorrow even thought it's Monday.  Tuesday and Wednesday will be the long trip to San Antonio.
