Day 1793

 We got up about 8.  Then it was pet stuff and breakfast.  There was nothing pressing to do, so we surfed for awhile.  Eventually we left for the club.

The place was pretty dead when we got there.  Apparently they have about half the people they usually have.  We only saw a couple of people we know.  Some of the vendor spaces were closed also.  I did manage to get the 20 ga choke and the new shooting lenses for my shooting glasses.

We walked around all of the vendors, but didn't buy anything else.  We ate lunch at the lunch bar.  I've never seen it so empty.  The silent auction is being held online.  That takes all the fun out of it.  All of the other usual things like the banquet have been cancelled.

After lunch I shot a couple of practice 5-stands.  Ellen didn't want to shoot.  My floaters were really bad today and I shot like shit.  I hope that they're gone tomorrow.  After that we left.  The place was just boring.

We stopped at HEB on the way home to get something to drink.  I ended up getting a ready to cook meal, some rolls, and a pineapple upside down cake.  The whole thing cost less than our lunch at Mickey D's the other day.

It was in the low 90's and humid, so we spent the rest of the afternoon in the trailer.  I might have napped.  Dinner took 5 minutes in the microwave.  It tasted good.

After dinner I got a text from Hooch.  Apparently his treatment went as well as could be expected.  That's great.  Mom is apparently holding steady, but they "have the morphine ready".
