Day 1800

 We got up a little after 8.  When I went out to the kitchen I discovered that the cats had knocked over the plant shield and plants.  In the process they'd broken the bulb on the antique lamp.  I was very pissed.  It took quite awhile to fix the plants, clean the table, and vacuum up the broken glass.  I did finally get breakfast.

After a little surfing I decided it was time to clean out the closets.  I started with the old suits and some shooting gear.  Then it was sweatshirts and coats.  Finally it was old shirts.  Ellen added some of she clothes.  My closets are significantly emptier now.

Since we were going to Goodwill I decided to clear out the stuff Isaac had left in the play house.  Their was quite a lot of stuff.  Ellen and I loaded everything into the truck.  We took it to Goodwill.  By then it was after 2 and we hadn't had lunch.  We stopped at Cheddar's and had a big meal.  The plan was to skip dinner.

When we got home I decided to put away the guns.  I went out to the apartment and cleaned out the safe.  The I brought over all the guns from the house.  Finally I carefully packed everything into the safe.  It actually all fit.  I might have space for one or two more rifles.  It was a relief to get the guns put away.

By then it was almost 6.  I did some surfing and ordered a replacement bulb for the lamp.

I got tired of surfing and got out the Lego.  The kit had 2900 pieces, so it will be months before I'm finished with it.
