We got up about 8, did the pet stuff and had breakfast. Then it was a little surfing. After that we went to the cafe for coffee and then over to Dan and Patsy's. Dan was fishing. We talked with Patsy for the rest of the morning.
About noon we went to Halfway. We were going to eat at the restaurant, but the line was out the door. So we bought bacon and snacks at the grocery store. I didn't want to go back home. I also wanted to drive the Bronco. So we went to Oxbow. It was a fun little drive. We looked at the turn off to Joseph, but there were no warning signs. I'd planned on going there today, but the Oregon highway website doesn't even show the road any more.
We stopped at the park in Oxbow. It's by the river and really nice. We took Lucy to the river and she waded in a little way. I think she was hot. She stumbled and sat down in the water. I think she liked it.
After that we drove back to Richland. We had a really late lunch - sandwiches. After some surfing and a nap we went back to Dan and Patsy's. They were just starting to watch the vice presidential debate. They listened and we surfed. Occasionally we comment on something they said. Afterwards we had a great time commentating on the commentators. Eventually that got old and we talked about other things.
We didn't leave until late - almost 10. When we got home it was off to bed.
