Day 1787

We woke up at 8, did the pet stuff and had breakfast.  Then we went over to the office to check in.  They only let Ellen.  I went in later to buy a t-shirt.

We went back to the truck and loaded up the cart.  We made it to station 1 just before our starting time.  The wind was blowing really hard.  They actually shut three stations.  Also, they would only sell us 100 targets a piece.

The course was fairly difficult, but fun.  I shot OK, but I still have these glitches.  The real bad side was I forgot to bring water.  It was in the low 90's by the time we were finished.

When we put everything away we drove across the freeway to the shopping center.  We got some groceries and ate at In-n-Out.  Then  we drove to the next exit for fuel.  It was 20 cents cheaper there.  We stopped at a pet store and got Lucy a treat.  Then it was home.

I hooked up the sewer hose so I could drain the shower tank after we took showers.  That's when I found out that we couldn't check in until 2.  It's only 140 miles to Tucson, so we won't be leaving until almost noon.  That means I can drain the tank tomorrow.

We spent the rest of the day surfing and watching TV.  We had leftover tacos for dinner.

Cooper had gotten out early in the morning.  He went about 10 feet and hunkered down until Ellen picked him up.  We thought he didn't like the desert.  Then he tried to get out again tonight.
