Day 2291

I woke up at 5:30 this morning and couldn't get back to sleep.  I played games for a while and then got up for pet stuff and breakfast.  After that I went out to the garage and used the Dremel to cut some more off the back of the Jeep so that the rear suspension would still work.  Then I started moving gravel.

I had intended to do at least 10 loads.  I did 11.  By then I was very tired and my back was beginning to hurt a lot.  I was done by 9.  It was 70 by then and I was covered in sweat.

I went back into the house and surfed.  I was too tired to do anything else.  Eventually I recovered enough to start work on the Jeep.  There's not a lot of room in it, so it took me a while to figure out where everything should go.  I hooked everything up and tested it.

I got an email saying there was a package at the post office.  So I stopped work on the Jeep and we left for the post office and lunch.  The package was some paint for Ellen.  We went to Longhorn for lunch.  I had a mango margarita, shrimp and lobster chowder, and a baked potato.  Ellen ordered ribs, but got a steak.  The waiter said he'd get the right order in immediately.  I told him we'd pay for the steak because we didn't want him to get in trouble.  He insisted that he wouldn't be.  When the bill came he didn't charge us for my drink.  He was a nice guy.

When we got home I went back to work on the Jeep.  I got everything installed and working.  That is until I put the body on.  The receiver interferes with the body.  I just didn't have the energy to redo things, so I left it for tomorrow.

Dinner was leftovers.  After dinner I watched a series on TV that is based on a Steven King novel.  I'm not sure I'll watch the rest.  I think it's about to get really predictable.
