Day 2296

 I woke up a little before 8, played some games, and then got up for pet stuff and breakfast.  I called the gravel place and spent 20 minutes on hold before they hung up on me.  I was pissed and didn't call back.  Then I did a little surfing and found that DVOR had a sale on Negrini gun cases.  That got me looking at what we had and whether we needed one.

That turned into a big effort.  I got out all of the cases and sorted out their contents.  Then I planned what we'll be taking.  That involved getting out the labeler and relabeling some of the cases.  We found that Ellen's 28 ga barrel was rusted, so she went out to clean it.  All of this took time and we ran out.  We got in the car and went to the urologist.  It was just a blood draw.

We stopped at Central Market on the way home for needed groceries.  We also stopped at the post office and the coffee shop on 290.  We ate lunch at the Mexican roach coach there.  It was nothing special.  I noticed that diesel is now over $5 a gallon.  FUCK BIDEN.

When we got home we finished up the gun case project.  Then I got out the monster truck.  I redid the steering links.  The result was an improvement.  Then I took it out to the garage and cut down the link mounts.  That should be the last of the work.  I do have to program the radio and charge up the battery (it came today).

I took the truck back to the house and got the plastic reamer and the winch parts.  I took them back to the garage.  I used the reamer to make holes in the new TRX4 body.  Then I screwed it together so I can determine where the mounting magnets go (they came today also).  Finally I used the Dremel to finish cutting out the winch mount.  All I have left to do on it is glue the servo to the mount.

By then it was 5.  I went back inside and fed the cats.  Then I surfed for quite a while.  Dinner was leftovers.  After dinner I watched a couple of movies.
