I woke up at 8, did the pet stuff, and went out to haul gravel. It took 12 loads to complete the driveway. I'd estimated 9, but I had to cover some area that I hadn't noticed yesterday. It took me less than an hour to do that, probably because I didn't have to haul it far.
When I was finished I went into the house to recover. I surfed for a while and had breakfast. Then I went off for errands. We needed gas, so I stopped. $4.59/gal. FUCK BIDEN. I also stopped a t Home Depot because I needed some more Dremel cutting wheels and water softener salt. We also stopped at a donut place near there. Then it was across the street to get a bottle of shampoo. It was large, but it cost $50. FUCK BIDEN again.
It was a great day - sunny and mid 70's. We decided to go to Jester King for lunch. It wasn't particularly crowded. Ellen had pizza and pop. I had pizza and beer. We stayed there enjoying the warm weather for several hours. Eventually we went home.
When I got home I loaded the 160 lbs of salt we'd bought into the garden cart and hauled it from the car to the well house. It was a little heavier than a load of gravel, but not by a lot. I suspect my normal load of gravel is at least 100 lbs, maybe more. I'd always wondered about that.
I cajoled Ellen into finishing painting the Ryft interior. I surfed while she did. The result came out looking nice. I put the decals on it. There were no instructions, so I had to look on youtube to see how it was supposed to look.
Ellen watched TV while I surfed. Dinner was leftovers. After dinner we both watched TV together. We're kind of getting hooked on this new Star Trek show. Apparently it's been on for several seasons.
