I woke up at 7:30, played games, and then got up for pet stuff. I called the locksmith and set an appointment at 9. We left for Baker shortly after.
When we got to the locksmith he said that I already had the key. When I tried it it only went halfway into the lock. He sprayed oil in the lock and free it up. It still took a lot of effort from both of us to remove it. At least it was off.
The tire guy hadn't called, so we went to the truck stop for breakfast. It was really good. We killed time there until we got bored enough to want to go to BiMart. The tire guy called just as we were getting up.
We drove to the tire guy and they took us in immediately. It did take over an hour for them to change the tires. The new ones look really good. We stopped at Mormon burger for a hamburger and Maverick for fuel before going home. The Bronco was quieter, steered better, and handled better on the way back. The upgrade was well worth it. I'd noticed that gas mileage seemed lower that it was in the Spring. Right now it seems to be about 24. That's OK with me, the vehicle is almost civilized now.
When we got back we went to the grange to help Dan put a TV stand together and mount a TV on it. The stand is really cool. The TV height is extendable and it's on wheels. It even has a shelf for a player.
With that done we all went to Holcomb to run the dogs. I tried to get the lock to go back on the tire mount, but couldn't. When we got back to the trailer I spent another half hour on it with no luck. Crap.
We fed the pets and then went to the restaurant for dinner with Dan and Patsy. Then we went home, watched some videos, and went to bed. I was really sleepy.
