I woke up about 8, played games for a while, and then got up for pet stuff and breakfast. After that I did a little surfing and then loaded up the truck. We were shooting at 10, so then it was off to the club.
It was a steam bath day - 80's with 90's humidity. Fortunately it was mainly cloudy. We also got lucky with the starting station. We could park right at it and it was at the turnaround. The course was a little on the easy side and shot better than I usually do. Not good enough to win anything though.
After we shot we stopped to see if Ellen's gun was done. It was. We also talked to a guy about some gun cleaning stuff and Bearpelt bout some extra shooter number clips.
We didn't take the dog today, so after that we left. We stopped at HEB on the way to the shopping center by 1604. We ate lunch at the Cajun place. It was great. Then we stopped at the pet store and got dog food. We'll probably run out tomorrow. The last stop was the Sketcher's outlet store. It was having a sale and my shoes are almost worn out from a summer of walking the dog. We both got a new pair.
The truck has been trying to regen since we got to San Antonio. I decided to drive on 1604 until it finished a "good" regen. That involved driving down to 410, going East to 514, and then back to Military Drive. By then it was finished and we went home.
We watched videos for a while with both of us taking naps. We hadn't had lunch until 3, so dinner was some snacks. The rest of the evening was Ellen watching chick flicks and me surfing.
