I got up a little before 7. I didn't feel very good, so I only had a banana for breakfast. Then it was outside to hook up. At least the temp was in the low 50's.
We were on the road in an hour. Traffic through the rest of the SLC metro area was light. After that it was smooth sailing. The only two issues were the continual up/down (climbing to 6,000 ft at least twice) and how sick I felt. I was continually coughing and sneezing.
It took about 4 hours to get to the park. That was almost a 65 mph average and we did 10.5 mpg. Pretty good considering there was a quartering headwind. The park is new and a "resort". It has a water park, tennis and pickle courts, and even two basketball courts. The spots are all just gravel though.
The worse thing is that there are only two shower houses in the large park. Neither of the are close to out site. We went into on and it wasn't very nice It's a combination shower/ toilet with no shower curtain and a institutional shower head. We both prefer the trailer shower. I have to hook up the sewer anyway, so that's not a problem.
After setting up a rested for a little while and then we took the dog to explore the park. There really isn't a dog park, just some small grass areas. They do have a small fenced "dog agility" area. Abby had a little fun in it.
After that we went into Hurricane. We got some snacks at ACE and drove around to see what had changed. Then we went home.
I sat down for videos and lasted about 10 minutes before a long nap. I didn't really have a dinner because I felt like shit. That feeling continued until I went to bed.
