Day 3590

We woke up at 7.  I got up, had breakfast, and went out to hook up.  Ellen got up, walked the dog, and then started work on the inside of the trailer.  The hookup proceeded as normal and we left the park at 8:05.

We had one traffic slowdown getting through Albuquerque going east.  It wasn't a big one though and we really never stopped moving.  After that it was smooth sailing.

We got under 10 mpg climbing out of Albuquerque.  However after we got to the top it was generally down hill and we had a slight tailwind.  We ended up doing a little over 12 for the first 100 miles.  We fueled up then because it was the last cheap ($3.09) fuel we were going to see until Lubbock.  We continued with the 12+ mpg for the rest of the trip including a regen.

Overall we mad pretty good time except for Clovis and a couple of other small towns.  We had to stop for a train in one of them.  We ended up making it to the park in Lubbock in a few minutes over 6 hours.

We set up and then went looking for a CVS.  I'd gotten a text that some drugs were waiting.  They filled my prescription immediately.  We walked around Target a little and then headed home.  There was a Cracker Barrel along the way, so we stopped in.  It was good food and not expensive.  We really enjoyed ourselves.

When we got home it was time to sit in the recliner and watch videos.  It's Friday night so we get to listen to the local football stadium.

We went to bed early because we're still a little sick.  We plan on getting up tomorrow so that we can get to the range when it opens at 10.
