Day 3592

We woke up about 8 and played games for a while.  Then it was up for breakfast and a little surfing before going out to hook up.  We only had 200 miles to go to San Angelo, so there was no hurry.  We left about 10:30.

The trip seemed longer than it was.  One good thing was that it was mainly on secondary roads.  None of them had been torn up by trucks, so they were actually much smoother.  Ellen was looking on the web and found that one state highway the GPS had us on was closed.  She found a secondary road that cut the mileage.  It turned out to be a good choice.

We got to the park somewhere around 3.  It was one that we had stayed at before.  We set up and then went for fuel and bananas.  It was nice to be back at a HEB.  We had an early dinner at What a Burger because they had a prickly pear drink.  It was really good.

When we got back to the trailer we hid out in the trailer from the heat until a little before sundown.  Then we took Abby for a walk at the park across the street.  She had fun, but the park limited it because of goat heads.  She went into the "woods" once, and came out with a cactus spine in her leg.

After that we went back to the trailer for some surfing and an early bed time.
