We woke up about 8. I fed the cats and then went back to bed to play games. Eventually I got up for breakfast. It was still a little cold out, so I watched YouTube for a while. Then it was time to accomplish something.
I learned last night that the bike rack had wobbled because I hadn't installed the stabilizer correctly. So I went out and fixed it. Then I went to the garage and started to install the thumb throttle and grips on Ellen's bike. I got the right grip off and the throttle on by myself. It was a battle. Then Ellen came out and helped me with the rest. She says she really likes the new grips.
After that I put a few things that we'd moved in the apartment back where they belong. I want to give it another day of drying before I put everything back. I left the apartment open all day to help.
I took an old large plastic container back to the house and started collecting doggy things. I cleaned out the pantry and removed the stuff from the trailer and the cars. Ellen took the cover off the car's back seat and washed the futon cover. It was a sad activity. When I was finished the container was completely full. We still have to wash the dog beds and take down the dog cage. After that the only trace of Lucy will be the pictures on the electric picture frame. I really miss her.
Ellen went to Hog Heaven for a coaches clinic. After I finished the dog stuff I surfed for a while and then sat out on the deck reading. It was a nice sunny day. After the work in the morning I didn't even feel guilty just relaxing.
Ellen came home after 4. She fixed a couple of chicken nuggets for dinner. Sigh. After dinner it was some surfing and a movie.
