I woke up about 8, did the pet stuff and had breakfast. Then I went out to the garage to work on reinforcing the trailer.
I quickly discovered that I needed a smaller diameter brace. So I left for Lowe's to get one. While I was gone the plumber showed up. She discovered that the pressure tank had taken a shit. she is looking for one. Ellen did a little searching also. We're waiting on the plumber's reply before ordering one ourselves.
When I got back I started to piece together the support. After some work on the brace I got under the trailer to attach the hangers. That's when things went south. What I thought was a metal brace across the back of the frame turned out to be some sort of light wooden piece. It acted like 1/8 inch wood. It wouldn't hod a screw at all. So much for my reinforcement, after about $50 of materials.
I was really disappointed. I went back to the house and - wait for it - watched videos. Ellen worked on attaching the new printer. It took her a lot of work, but she finally got it to work. Now I can print from my computer, too.
I had lunch and watched more videos. Eventually I got bored and took the new shower head to the trailer. It didn't take long to install, but at least it was something. Ellen went to Hog Heaven. I wanted to accomplish something else, so I started to walk the fence. I got about halfway around when I found that a large tree had fallen on the backyard fence.
I got out the sawsall and cut the tree branches that were on the fence. I'll need to cut the tree trunk tomorrow. It's big, and cutting it will be a little dangerous. I want Ellen there in case she has to call 911.
Both lunch and dinner were leftovers. After dinner was more videos. I watched several on the decline of malls in the US. It's too bad that they are going away, but they do seem like they've served their purpose.
