I woke up somewhere around 8 and got up to do the pet stuff. Then i went back to bed and slept some more. I played games when I woke up the second time before getting up and having breakfast.
I felt guilty about getting a late start, so after breakfast I went to the trailer. I put the new sliding shelf in the pantry. It fit perfectly. When I started to load it up I found that Ellen had a lot of duplicate stuff. She had 5 different pet cleaners including three bottles of one kind. She also had duplicate kitchen cleaning bottles. I took the extras to the house.
The shelf for the pantry door didn't go so well. When I measured the door it was 18 inches. I should have measured the door opening. Because of trim it's 17 inches. The shelf is 17 1/8 inches wide. Crap. I gave up and went back into the house to order a slightly smaller shelf.
After that it was surfing for a little bit while I recovered from my disappointment. Then I went back to the trailer to fix the compartment door latch. It hasn't shut without slamming for months. I got out the Drempt and spent a lot of time modifying the latch. That didn't help. I was about to give up when I realized all of the latches were getting a little balky. So I got out the silicon spray and lubed the latch. After that it worked perfectly. I lubed the other latches and they worked a lot better also.
I was feeling much better as I had lunch - a sandwich. After that was more videos. One got me thinking about a fan for the trailer refrigerator. So I went back outside. It may be possible to install one, but it will be work.
I wanted to get more accomplished, so i spent the next 2 hours trimming the trees on the driveway. That involved a ladder, hedge trimmer, and the pole saw. It was a lot of work. It's done now, which makes me feel really good. All in all I got a lot accomplished despite the late start.
Ellen fixed a chicken and bacon sandwich for dinner. After dinner I watched TV. I had enough of videos. Late in the evening there was a crash on the back deck. A raccoon was trying to open the bird seed containers. I chased him off.
