I woke up about 8, got up and fed the cats. Then I went back to bed and slept until 9. After that it was get up and have breakfast. It was a little cool after breakfast, so I spent some time surfing. Then I loaded up the car to go to Capitol City.
I purposely went up 130 to see how the construction was going. The road and the north bound frontage are essentially finished except for one thing. There's no way yo get from 71 to the north bound frontage road. You have to drive halfway to the airport and back track. After that it's as fast to go on the frontage road as it is to pay the toll.
It was a nice day, but cloudy and windy. The wind really moved the targets. We had fun though. I didn't shoot really well, but I shot better than I thought I would.
When we were finished we took the 130 frontage road back south. It isn't finished. In fact, in one place you have to drive on the toll road. Apparently that's not being charged right now. I was following the signs and ended up having to backtrack a couple of miles when I hit a dead end.
We stopped at Harbor Freight, In-N-Out, the post office, and HEB on the way home. It was 4 by the time we got home. I put everything away and then went back to YouTube.
Dunner was a HEB salad. The rest of the evening was YouTube. I'm now looking at videos made by history buffs who film at the actual locations of the events.
