Day 1935

 I woke up about 8 today, played some games, and then got up for pet stuff and breakfast.  After breakfast I went outside to work on the gate.  I got the battery off the charger in the garage and took it back to the gate.  I reinstalled it.  One of the battery connections was a little loose, so I tightened it.

The gate still didn't work.  I went outside and tried the outside keypad.  It made the gate open and close.  I'd thought that the inside controller batteries might be bad, but the keypad had lit up last night.  I replaced the batteries and everything worked fine.  I like easy fixes.

I'd spent part of yesterday looking at new computers.  I wanted one with a better touchpad and keyboard.  I found one I liked at Best Buy.  So we went to look at it.  I was going to buy it when Ellen pointed out another one with a beautiful display and a better graphics chip.  I bought it instead.

We ate lunch at the pizza place next to Best Buy.  Then it was the post office, CVS, and home.  When we got home I didn't bother with cleaning the gun.  Instead I started to bring up the new computer.  I worked on it for a coupe of hours.  Then I got tired of it.  I'll finish the rest of the data transfer later.

I spent the rest of the afternoon and evening on YouTube.  The new display is marvelous.  I did install Solitaire so I could play it while watching the videos.

Dinner was a HEB salad.  Apparently Ellen has given up cooking.  After dinner was more YouTube.  I had to tear yself away to go to bed.
