Day 1942

I woke up about 8 and played games until about 9.  Then it was up for pet stuff and breakfast.  After breakfast I went out to work on the trailer.

I unpackaged the LED lights for pantry and hooked them up to a 12V supply.  They all work fine, but they are much whiter than the "warm white" they were advertised to be.  Then I took the pantry light off the pantry ceiling and used the multi-meter to figure out how it worked.  It was bad news.  I'm going to have to use an additional motion switch.

So it was back to the house to look for a switch on Amazon.  It took a while to find one.  When I did I ordered it.  When that was done we went to Belterra.  I needed to get some screws for the next project and take the last of Lucy's stuff to Tomlinson's.  Then we went to Dripping Springs.  There was a new entertainment place there that I wanted to see.

Before that we stopped at the cake place where I'd ordered the moon pies.  They were $8 a piece.  With tax that's $100 per dozen.  I'm glad we're rich.

I wasn't sure what the place was like.  It turned out to be an elaborate mini golf place (three different courses, pickleball courts, a bar, food trucks, a concert area, and a picnic area.  It's all brand new and very well done.  We had lunch there.  Apparently the food will be better later when the restaurant is finished.

When we got home Ellen packaged up 6 of the moon pies for Hooch.  I went out to work on the trailer hitch reinforcement.  I didn't get far.  I did drill out the mounting holes on the brackets.  I couldn't drill the holes in the trailer frame because I didn't have a long enough bit.  So it was back inside to find one on Amazon and order it.

So much for projects.  So of course the rest of the day was YouTube videos.  I'm currently hooked on a series on economics.  The topics range from historical to modern day.

Hooch called when I asked where he'll be next week.  They'll be in Sun River.  It turns out shipping the moon pies there is a pain in the ass.  It's going to cost $25.  Oh well.
