Day 2871

 We woke up at 7, had breakfast, hooked up and left.  We were on the road at 8.

The first 100+ miles were on I15.  The traffic wasn't bad since it was still early on Saturday.  We got 11.5 mpg, not bad.  We turned off to go up Price Canyon at Spanish Fork.  The road from there is a steep uphill.  By the time we got to the top we were getting 10 mpg overall.  Mileage got better as we went back downhill to Green River. We were back to 11 by then.  Overall the road was pretty good with plenty of passing lanes.

We got into Moab about 1.  We parked the trailer, unhooked, and fed the animals.  It was hot - mid 80's.  We went into town just to look around and see about buying lunch and a couple of items.  We drove through the whole town sight seeing.  It's gotten a little bigger, but overall hasn't changed much.  We ended up buying batteries for the tire sensors, a dog shit bag carrier, and some bread.  Then we went back to hide from the heat in the trailer.

We watched videos and fed everyone another time.  It cooled off some and we took Abbby for a walk.  She played a little with a couple of dogs in the dog park.  Then we walked around the park.  We meat a couple with a Brittany and we talked for quite a while.  Then we went back to the trailer and watched videos for the rest of the evening.
