We woke up at 7. It was already over 80. We decided that it would be too warm by the time we got to the club, so shooting today was out. We fed the pets instead and then went back to bed to play games.
When we finished playing games we got up, had breakfast, and did a little surfing. Then we decided to make it a doggy day. We started by taking Abby to a dog park.
The park was very big and totally grass covered. There were plenty of other dogs for her to play with. She ran around at full speed meeting every dog in the park. We let her run for as long as she wanted. That was quite a while. When she was finished she was really dirty.
We'd planned on that because the second stop was a dog wash/pet store. She got a nice bath as well as a new collar and a new nose harness. The cats got more dry food. After that I got a few things at the grocery store next door and then we went home.
By the time we got home it was in the high 90's. It got to 100 later. We spent the rest of the day hiding from the heat in the trailer. Most of the time was spent on videos with some napping thrown in.
We fied the pets, watched s few more videos, and then went out for dinner. We drove to a diner place. We both had breakfast and I had a mango milkshake. It was great - made like they used to make them. Then we filled up with fuel on the way back home.
I didn't bother to line up the truck or take down the Starlink. The trip to Tucson should only take two and a half hours and we can't check in until 1. I'll just take my time hooking up tomorrow.
