We got up at 7. At least I think so. There's three different time here (Mountain, Arizona, and Navajo) and I'm not sure which one to go with. After pet stuff, breakfast, and a little surfing we left to do a tuck regen.
We ended up going south on 89, the same way we'll go on Sunday. I drove out 15 miles and turned around. The regen ended 5 miles later. It stopped at 22%, but immediately dropped to 19%. Not great, but I'll take it.
When we got back to town we drove to the marina that we'd leave from in the afternoon. The road there had several viewpoints and we stopped at all of them. Abby whined at each one, but didn't keep it up long after we'd left the car. Also, she didn't barf the whole trip even though she'd just ate.
The last stop was the dog park. A guy brought 3 dogs just as we got there. Abby had fun with all three. I tried to do a few retrieves, but the other dogs were just too much of a distraction. Abby was pretty tired when we were done though.
When we got home we had lunch. Then we packed some water and snacks and went to the marina. The trip was great. It was a boat ride that took us down river to the dam and then up river to the canyon of a tributary. The scenery was fantastic and the lighting was great. I took well over 100 pictures. The light faded on the way back though so the picture taking time was over.
We got home a little before 6. Ellen took the dog out and I fed the animals. After that we had dinner - leftovers. After dinner was videos.
Tomorrow morning is the eclipse. At least it's at a good time, about 9.
