We got a response from our other offer. They countered with a price that we could live with. It's higher than we offered on the first house. I guess we'll make the first house the same offer (a counter-counter-offer). I don't think that they will accept. We found out that they took out a second mortgage on the place last September. They are probably mortgaged to the hilt.
The dog was driving us crazy again, so we took her to the back of the park to run her. After last night's heavy rain it was very muddy. When we got home it was some production to get the mud off of her paws. It was worth it though. She hasn't moved off the couch all evening.
Tomorrow we'll talk to the realtor again (sigh). On a brighter note there's a pancake breakfast tomorrow and we're going to go see a model train show. I'm ready to go out and do something other than look at houses or shop.
