We spent the whole day house hunting. Drove 175 miles and looked at 9 houses. A few of them are worth touring. One house has a great location - 6 miles from Cabelas. We made up a list of houses to tour and we're going out with the realtor tomorrow.
The day was capped off with a trip to Cabelas. I picked up a couple of dog items and a range finder. I've been wanting to get one for when I set targets for some time. When I went to look at them they had two models in the price range that I was interested in. One was a Nikon and the other had Cabelas' name on it. The Cabelas one was OEMed from Bushnell. I asked the guy behind the counter which one he would choose and he said Nikon without hesitation. It's funny that he dissed the company model.
The dog had a bad day. She spent it all in the back of the truck. To make it up to her I gave her a treat when we left Cabelas. She also got some steak leavings in the evening, so the day shouldn't have been a total loss from her point of view.
We both won bingo games tonight. Both times we had to share the pot with another player. I also won this neat bingo card holder.
