Another cold day that had us hiding out in the trailer. We spent the entire morning and the first part of the afternoon reading and surfing. The dog spent that time frantically trying to get use to do SOMETHING. She gets up on the couch behind the kitchen chair I sit in and puts her legs on my shoulder. Then she puts her head against mine and tries to convince me that there are more interesting things to do than sit in front of a computer.
We finally had mercy on her and took her to the back of the park. She did 60 retrieves. That's about 2 miles of running. That quieted her down enough that we could spend the rest of the day in peace.
The DirectTV receiver decided that it didn't want to play recordings anymore. I was going to call their customer service and talk to Gupta. I wasn't expecting much help from him even if I managed to understand his version of English. Then it occurred to me to try the reset button (which is all Gupta would have suggested anyway). It worked and we watched a movie that I had recorded the other day.
