Day 86

We decided that it was warm enough to go up to Kerrville to shoot their tournament today. It was a balmy 50 degrees. We both shot OK considering that we haven't pulled a trigger in 10 weeks. There weren't a lot of people, about 35. Normally it would have been 50 to 60, but by Texas standards today was frigid. Ellen won her class and Ladies. I took AA second and Vet. At least I didn't get a punch.

We had a good time. In general the course was pretty easy. There were probably 3 or 4 stations that I would call Texas targets. They have really nice terrain for a sporting course. Lots of trees and a ravine that they can throw targets into or put traps in. While we were eating lunch we talked to the manager (I didn't get his name). They have three bunker trap fields. For the state tournament this year they are going to set a five stand on one. The shooters will stand on top of the bunker and the targets will come out from below them - at 64 mph. I'd really like to shoot that, but we'll be in Oregon.

The realtor copied us on an email the she sent to the seller's agent. Basically it said "give us an answer or we'll go looking for another house".
