Day 19

We went to Wimberley for the Market Days. When we got there at 10:30 traffic was lousy and all but one of the parking lots was full. We did get in and spent hours walking all over the place. We ended up buying a pink flamingo and nothing else.

After that we crawled through traffic to downtown to eat. We waited almost an hour to get seated and served. The food was OK, and I had a great piece of apple pie.

Then we went up to Dripping Springs to look at a safe at Tractor Supply. It looks like a good one, so I'll buy one tomorrow.

When we got home we took out the trailer hitch. While doing that we noticed that one of the tires was flat on the tractor. It was so flat that it was off the rim. It didn't help that I drove about 200 feet on it before I knew it was flat. I got out a jack, jacked it up, and reinflated it.

I think I have a way to unload the safe from the truck and get it into the house. We'll see tomorrow.
