I'm writing this two days late - more on that later.
The first thing that I did was try to contact someone about fixing the septic. Of course no one is available on the holiday weekend. Ellen finally found someone, but they wanted $250 plus 20 cents/mile just to come and look at it. We'll wait until Monday.
I decided that I'd spent enough consecutive days doing nothing. I started out by hooking the water to the trailer and turning on the hot water heater so that we could take showers.
Then I decided to put up the plywood in the attic in preparation for putting in the stove vent. I moved the wood from the truck to the area of the attic that I needed to work on. I was tired when that was done, but not overly so. So I decided to position it and screw it down. I'd forgotten how dam difficult it is to work in the areas where the roof was low. By the time I got them in position and screwed down I was dripping in sweat and very tired.
I'm so tired that I'm not sure I want to finish the project.
I quit that and started looking at the bathroom book that Ellen bought. I marked all of the pages that had design elements that I liked. It took quite awhile because the book is pretty big.
After that it was time for dinner (leftovers) and surfing. I began to have serious pain in my left arm. I went in to lay down and got nauseous. When I got up to go back to the living room I got the oddest sensation in the left side of my body. At that point it was time to go to Emergency. They kept me running tests for about 3 hours and then said that they thought I should spend the night in another hospital.
So I ended up in an ambulance going to a hospital in Austin. When I got there they kept me up all night running tests (including a MRI) and taking blood and vital signs.
