I unconnected the trailer and drained its tanks this morning. I also fixed the stairs into the apartment. It was another case of the sellers doing a half assed job. They hadn't fit the stairs to the platform. So they left a 1/2 inch gap and put three screws through it. Of course over time the screws corroded and broke. I cut a small block of wood and used it to join the stairs and platform.
Then we put the Christmas tree up. We needed to get another string of lights and a top ornament for it. We went out and got the mail and the Christmas stuff. I also finally remembered to get a basketball pump and a tool to remove valve stems. We also stopped at Lowe's and got the new vent. It's going to be a pain to install, but last night the whole house smelled from cooking dinner.
I found a couple of parts at Home Depot that may make the install easier. We'll see. I'll install the new vent tomorrow, but I probably won't get the ducting done until later.
