Day 149

It was another cold morning, but only down to 40.  I was going to stay in bed, bu then I remembered about estate saleing.  There was only one, and it was close by.  It was off Gallant Fox Road.  I'd always wanted to go there, so we did.  The sale itself had nothing of interest.  I did pick up a screen door tool.  The best thing was just driving down the road.

After that it was the post office.  That pretty much finalized what we needed to do.  I didn't want to go home though, so we stopped at Target for no good reason.  Ellen got some food and I got a blu-ray and some yard art.  She's pretty sick with the flu and only wants to eat soup.  I'm wait for me to get it.

The last stop was Circle C.  By then it had warmed up to the point that a sweatshirt was almost too much.  Lucy did a fine set of retrieves.  It was nice enough to walk, but Ellen didn't feel like it.  On the way back we stopped by the gas station for lunch.  They have great hamburgers, and they aren't too expensive.  It was after one, but people were continually coming in to get food.

When we got home we cleaned up the house.  Ellen vacuumed and I cleaned off the table, bar, and TV table.  I took a bunch of stuff to the garage.  I've been meaning to hang a clock I got as a present there for years.  I finally did.  I also put batteries in the two clocks that were there.  The place looks pretty presentable now.

In the morning I had put the control panel out in the sun to dry.  When Lucy and I went to get the mail, I brought it into the house.  I may try to remove the tape tomorrow.

The evening was a little reading and a lot of TV.  Netflix has some good movies, but you have to look for them.
