Day 159

The weather has finally turned nice.  It's cloudy, but in the low 70's.  That's just about perfect.

We sat in bed with the pets and the internet for part of the morning.  When we got up it was a little more internet.  Then I went outside to poison the environment.  I spent about two hours walking the grassy areas spot spraying thistles.  My back was killing me by the time I was done.

Lucy got really antsy.  She didn't go anywhere yesterday and she REALLY wanted to go somewhere today.  I kind of wanted to go somewhere for lunch, so we took off.  We ran Lucy at Circle C first.  While we were there a lady walked up with a long haired pudelpointer.  It was a male about 10 lbs heavier than Lucy.  They kind of got acquainted, but they really didn't play together.

After that we went to the Italian place.  Lucy was so hot that it took the whole time we were there for her to cool down.  That was even with her laying on the concrete.

After a quick stop at HEB we went home.

I sprayed a final coat of clear on the control panel.  That should be the end of painting it.  I didn't do any other work, I was too tired from spraying.

Ellen did some archery practice while I surfed.  She fixed me a mojito for dinner.  It was great.

The evening was watching Top Gear and surfing.  They were old shows we hadn't seen before.  I'm going to miss that show.  Fuck the PC BBC.
