It was hard to get up this morning. I was tired and sore. My plan to poison the environment had to be put on hold because it was raining. The first priority was to apply for health insurance. I should have read the application before I wasted time with Blue Cross. I could have just applied based on losing COBRA.
We had to wait on UPS to deliver a package, so I went to the apartment and put down the masking for the living room. I also went to the house and unpacked 4 boxes of knick knacks. Ellen started to paint the room, but she didn't get far. She had to spend a lot of time on the phone with Patsy consulting on a computer problem.
UPS brought the package about noon. That freed us up to go shopping. We got some cat and dog food. I got a new pair of jeans to replace the ones with paint all over them. We also got some Longhorn t-shirts for Stephen. Finally, we stopped at Home Depot to get some trim lumber to finish the trim that the sellers didn't do in the apartment. Wood to trim a single door cost almost $50.
When we got home I put the trim up around the front door in the apartment. It was the first time I've ever done something like that. It came out OK. It would have come out better if the door opening had been square.
