Cloud computing only works if you can contact the server. We're in Kingman now and connection to the internet sucks. We can't get a signal with the MyFi (this is a first). The campground connection is slow and keeps dropping you out.
We made 300 miles today. We are now a little more (53%) than halfway to Oregon. Along the way I came across something I've never seen before. We gassed up at a Flying J in Phoenix. The price on the signs was $3.02. However, the price at the pump was $2.94. I only made one gas stop. When we got to Kingman it took 18.6 gallons to fill the tank. That's the lowest I've ever let it go when hauling the trailer.
I got some good news today. I called up the Oregon health insurance people. They will start my coverage tomorrow. I'm lucky, since I sent in my application so late. Of corse I don't have any of the information about it. Hopefully I won't need any until I get back to Oregon.
We also got lucky on the campground reservations. They are having some sort of festival in Boulder City. The campground is almost full, but they managed to fit us in. I guess it's bad planning to stop over in Las Vegas on the weekend. We just have to decide if we will go shooting or go into town.
The dog got to run in the area adjacent to the park. She was bouncing off the walls when we parked. We had to wait an hour after she ate before we could run her. She's quiet now.
We're going to walk down to a kind of truck stop place to have dinner. We ate there last year and liked it.
