On the road again.
We spent a couple of hours in the morning getting the trailer ready and locking up. I left most of a large bag of cat food for the cats. Of course it won't get them through the summer. I hope they have the brains to move to some other house.
It was raining lightly all day. Good old Texans. The rain was light enough that you only needed to use the wipers every couple of minutes. I passed people that had their wipers on high.
We got out of the gate without damaging anything and the trip was uneventful. When we got to the park a little before noon it was only half full. I knew they were bullshitting us.
After setting up we went into Fredericksburg. It was noon, so we stopped at a place for lunch. It had a sign that said the dining room was closed from noon to 2:00, but the drive in window was open. When we drove to the window, someone inside looked at us and then disappeared. We drove away. I predict a short life for this establishment.
We did the tourist thing walking the main street looking in shops. We saw some nice furniture. One store had a sale on cowhides and I bought one.
After that we went back to the trailer and watched cable TV.
