Day 193

The dog and I love the desert. Lucy got to run twice today. Once in the morning and once at night. I got to enjoy a sunny day with a high of about 85. That's a whole lot better than the 55 degrees and raining that Oregon is having today.

We spent the morning doing the wash and running the dog. It was nice not having to hook up and drive somewhere. Almost like being retired.

After that we went to Tombstone. We left the dog at home because it was too hot. We had a good time doing the tourist thing. Going through the shops (only bought a t-shirt and a book). We also attended one of the several "shoot out shows" that are put on at various places in town. We'd been there before. It's fun. You sit there and eat lunch while they reenact gunfights that happened in Tombstone. The $2 margaritas are nice, too.

I got some good news. Oregon is going to give me health insurance. Maybe I won't have to go without coverage at the end of the month.

We stopped by the river on the way back. I wanted to hike to it to see if Lucy could go for a swim. There wasn't enough water. Ellen got hot and pissed during the hike. I'll hear about it for awhile.
