Today we went shooting. We wanted to shoot the targets from last weekend's tournament. They were an OK set of targets. Most of them were fairly difficult, but nothing extraordinary. Wind was a factor though. It was blowing at about 20 mph. I was a little disappointed because three of the machines on the course were down.
We did the tough 50 also. We did OK, but there were a couple of targets that I never touched. I was shooting in front of them if you can believe that.
There was nobody else on the course, so we let Lucy run free. She had a great time and covered a lot of ground. Unfortunately she took off after a frog target at one station. Ellen almost shot her. Lucy was a very tired dog for the rest of the day.
All in all it was fun. Ellen said it cost us less than half what it would have cost if we had shot the tournament.
After a short time in a traffic jam on I-35 we got back. We stopped on the way at Best Buy. We didn't really need anything, we just didn't want to go home yet.
