We went to look at the CD holder this morning. It was nice and matched the chest in the apartment. I got it for $50. The seller had a Volkswagen Thing in the garage. It's in pretty good shape, and she's restoring it as she gets some money. I haven't seen one for years.
On the way home we decided to stop at Zilker Park. We parked in a different part of the park under the Loop 1 bridge. We walked across a pedestrian bridge they have there and let Lucy swim on the other side. She did at least 30 water retrieves followed by 20 land retrieves. After that she still wanted to do more.
We walked back across the bridge and over to the "prehistoric park". It had some very cool plants in it and a sculpture of a Velociraptor. There were supposed to be dinosaur tracks there, but we didn't see any. On the way back Lucy did 10 more long, wind aided, land retrieves.
On the way home we stopped at this cool toy store. We didn't buy anything because we already have enough for the kids. But I think that we'll buy something there in the future. We also got burgers at 5 guys. They were very good, but expensive. Lucy got to be with us outside. She got part of Ellen's burger and some fries.
When we got home I e-mailed a guy about a miter saw stand. He came back with a price of $75. Ellen found a sale on a better one for $70 at Sears. So we ordered it online and picked it up at the store in the evening.
