I actually did something today. I went over the entire property removing rocks and sticks from the places that I will be mowing. I even got ambitious and dug up some rocks with the pick. It wasn't hard work, but it was muggy and a little warm.
Cleaning the area should make mowing a lot easier. It did depress me a little. I'd forgotten how much has to be done with the weed eater.
After that I spent the rest of the day basking in the since of accomplishment. We went out to get the mail and run the dog. She did pretty good considering the temperature. Afterwards we stopped in at the grocery. We got lucky. It was cloudy when we went in, but the clouds must have broken up soon after. Fortunately we weren't in there long. As it was the dog got very hot.
When she got home the dog got an outside bone. She kept going in and out because we wouldn't let her bring it inside.
