I did the first thing on the todo list for leaving. I took the presents that we had stored in the spare bedroom over to the trailer. That's all.
I got bored in the morning so I went over to a garage sale in Oak Hill. I chose it because it advertised books and CD's. Also, it was on the way to the Post Office. They lied. They didn't have either books or CD's. On the way back we stopped at the park for the dog. It was at least 85 degrees, but she still did a respectable number of retrieves. I didn't push her.
We spent the rest of the day inside the house hiding out from the heat. That won't be possible tomorrow. We have to start getting ready to leave.
