We took Mom to the airport early this morning. Then we went to the Waffle House for breakfast. On the way home we stopped at the park and ran the dog while it was still cool.
When we got home I mixed up a solution of Roundup and spot sprayed the weeds in the driveway that survived the Crossbow application. I also hit all of the thistles that survived my spraying last year. I was surprised that there weren't more.
I was done with that by 11:00. It's amazing what can be done when you get up in the morning.
After lunch we went out to mail the checks for the taxes. This is the last year I'll be robbed by the state of Oregon. We also stopped by Kohl's and picked up a table for the front of the house. We also stopped at Costco just for something to do. We ended up buying a sun screen for the kitchen window that faces west. I keep making up jobs for myself.
When we got home I put the new table together. It looks pretty good. Of course anything would compared to that wooden piece of shit that the dumbshits left there. Then I busted up the wood thing and put it in the garbage can.
I called about a sewing table that looked real nice on Craig's list. Unfortunately somebody beat me to it.
