Day 189

We got a little later a start than I'd plan thanks to Taiko. He decided to hide out in a cupboard. It took awhile to find him. When we got on the road the drive wasn't too bad. It's just about a 100 miles to the club. The traffic wasn't heavy, but there seemed to be a lot of clueless drivers. We did see an accident occur in the northbound lanes. Some broad drove off the road and hit the center divider. She was probably texting.

We got to the park and set up. It was about 12:30 when we got to the shooting complex. We said hello to everyone at registration and bought the obligatory t-shirt. We took our guns to Perazzi and they fixed them that afternoon. They replaced the firing pins and springs on Ellen's gun. Apparently someone had taken my gun apart and forgot to put the lever spring back in. They put in one.

I'd been looking for Jason and we found him. We had a good talk and some laughs.
Most of the vendors weren't open, so we went over to Skip and Bev's trailer. Lucy had fun with there dogs and we talked for about an hour and a half. They said the practice has some long targets, so we stopped at Dick's for some cannon shells. They were on sale for $50 a flat, so we got a relative bargain. When we got home we just ate dinner and veg'd out for the evening.
