I finally got my Ranger glasses. I took the prescription to the vendor today and they made the lenses on the spot. I chose basically bright day colors for the clip ons. That's because I like the HiDef Spex so much for cloudy days.
We spent the day walking around and shooting the practice. It was nice to be able to try a pair of lenses by going out and shooting in them. If I didn't like them I just tried a different color. We also shot a make-a-break using this new vendor's shotgun. The gun was fine. However it's competing at a price point with Beretta and I'd have a hard time saying that it's a better gun.
We spent the evening with Skip and Bev. First we sat around and talked. Then we ate the light dinner that was served. Then we stayed until 9:00 watching the pro's shoot some weird form of make-a-break. We saw them make some incredible shots. The dog got a lot of free petting ffom lots of different people. She even got a little of the dinner items.
