It's been six months away from Oregon. I haven't missed it a whole lot. I'm not looking forward to going back to 6 weeks of cold and rain until "summer" up there starts.
It took over 2.5 hours, but I did get the weedeating done today. I actually did a little more than I had done in the fall. The place actually doesn't look too bad if I do say so myself. Of course I was dirty and soaked with sweat when I was done. So another noontime shower spent picking twigs out of my hair. At least I wasn't covered with dust.
A person came by in the afternoon to buy the pool. They paid full price. Loading it up came with a problem. The sand filter was almost too heavy to move and put on the truck. There's a drain, but it drains very slowly. It took all three of us, the hand truck, and the ATV ramps to get it on the truck.
At the end of that process my shirt was totally soaked with sweat. Just like I'd jumped into a pool. Physical labor in heat and humidity is just no fun. At least there isn't any foreign material in my hair.
Now that the sand filter and pump are gone I should remove the blocks and bricks that were by them. I suspect that that won't get done until November.
